Chardonnay | Delaplane Cellars
Delaplane’s 2017 Chardonnay was made from grapes sourced from a vineyard in NW Loudoun County, a few miles south of Harper’s Ferry. The fruit was whole cluster pressed, then barrel fermented at cool temperatures and aged sur lie (on the lees) in neutral French oak barrels for 7 months. This elegant, lighter style wine is fresh on the palate with aromas of white peach and pear together with some citrus flavors.
