About the Vineyard
Founded in 1975 as wished by Rivo Marcocelli, Azienda Agricola Marcocelli bounded forward with its wine production in 1999, thanks to Rivo's son, Giuseppe. In those years, the company's core business shifted from orchards to vines, focusing in particular on Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes. Thanks to this relevant wine, which represents the family's wine production, the winery was immediately successful, and in a very short time was awarded a High Quality Product acknowledgement (in 2000). In 2003 it obtained the prestigious DOCG label for its Conte Ripoli Colline Teramane Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
