About the Vineyard

Glass House Winery is in the Monticello Wine Trail in central Virginia.  This vineyard was established over a decade ago and is one of Virginia’s premier environmentally friendly vineyards. On their 12 plus acres their estate grown vineyards consist of estate wines, blends, a one of a kind chocolate wine. Owners Jeff and Michelle Sanders relocated to Virginia in 2006 after falling in love with rolling hills of the Smokey Mountains.  This vineyard fuses Jeff’s botanical skills and Michelle’s passion for creating unique chocolates.  Additionally, they have built a tropical conservatory on site that creates the perfect ambiance for sipping wines or enjoying a picnic.  This creates in making your trip a little exotic and relaxing at the same time.
