About the Vineyard
Effingham Manor is located in Prince William County, Virginia and was established in June 2016 by Chris Pearmund, when he first planted over two acres of Chambourcin. Even though they are newer they have a wide variety of wines to offer every wine type. With a ton of history going back over 250 years one of the tasting rooms is in the Tidewater-style plantation, which is definitely a focal point of this establishment. With around two years of production Effingham Manor has worn over 100 medals, 50+ being gold; to name a few of their accomplishments, their Kings Ransom was named Red Wine of the Year at the Virginia State Fair, their Rose was named International Rose of the Year at the Indy International Wine Competition, and their Traminette was named Hybrid of the Year by the American Wine Society.
